7/21
Today was rafting, ATV and hiking day in Denali. Mark and David’s families joined us for a rafting float trip while Brian and family headed out for a class 4-5 rafting trip. Matt and family rented ATV’s for a mountain adventure. Busy family!
Water temps at 34 degrees! So we struggled getting dry suits on.Mt Denali was out in full view!!! Only 30% of the visitors see the mount top. 10 years ago when were last here we never saw anything of the mountain.
At 20,000 + feet it is massive and is the tallest mountain in North America. We took a hike into the national park to get a view. Keep in mind the mountain is still 80 miles away in this picture.
