First full day in Denali. Weather was pretty cool in the morning with clearing skies. We embarked on 40 mile bus ride into the national park. The park doesn’t allow cars into the park but does run very good shuttle system. You can get off where ever you like to hike, view the wildlife etc. We were able to spot a grizzly bear and her 3 clubs on the side of mountain, several caribou, lots big horn sheep high in the mountains and a golden eagle. Denali was buried in it own cloud system all day, except Mark and Brian did get a couple of pics towards dusk. More to follow on that tomorrow’s update. Unfortunately the cell phone camera isn’t any good for distance photography. We did get some great shots with the big camera but I don’t have a way to download the pics with me.
