Well our vacation with the family is just about over. Princess Cruises bused over 500 people back to Anchorage, a 6 hour bus ride. While this sounds torturous, it was actually spectacular with mountain views, lakes and a moose sighting. Denali was again in full display and our driver stopped multiple times for pics.
For sure it has been a wonderful trip with our family of 19 and tomorrow we get the kids off on the plane, and pick up Mark and Janet Garder for an RV and bush plane tour of Alaska. So stay tuned.
Anchorage holds 40% of Alaska population. Nice small town, but my last adventure in Alaska 10 years ago, I did have a Grizzly encounter!
