We spent the day at Portage Glacier which turned out to be one of the most amazing places we have been. We bought tickets for a short boat ride to the base of the Portage Glacier.

Short 1 mile hike on Byron Glacier trail.

We were able to snag a camp spot right in the Chugach National Forest adjacent to the Portage Glacier. Great spot and we were able to have s’mores. Broom man!
