 7/11 - 7/12

Long first couple of days, leaving for the airport at 6:30 am and  arriving in Vancouver BC at 7:30 pm East Coast time. The kids were real tropers on the plane with the fights for the most part taking off and arriving on time.

7/12 We explored Vancouver seeing the sights of the city and especially enjoyed the first and oldest steam driven clock in the world. Pretty amazing and precise mechanical machine.

                                                                 Playground fun

Vancouver has seen a robust building boom in its center district with many new apartment and office buildings. As you can see the architecture is very modern.

We boarded our ship the Princes Sapphire which is huge. A total of 17 floors-many restaurants, shops, bars, pools, hot tubs, sporting areas etc. So far all is good and the family is starting to adjust to cruise life. I think Mac said it best when he came back with ice cream saying the ice cream was good "And it was free"!
